So it has been a long time since I have blogged but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things! Over the last year we celebrated Eli's first birthday, my 30th birthday, and Daniel's 25th birthday...I guess it was a big year for all of us! Now that it is January of 2011 Eli is almost 2 now! Wow how he has grown! He is over 3 feet tall now and has been in 2t clothes for a while now and I'm sure he will be in 3t soon! As for the rest of my family: My Grandma has had her shoulder operated on a knee replacement, and between December and January she has fallen 4 times and has luckily by the grace of God has not broken any bones! My dad has also had a knee replacement and is now in rehab for it and hoping to come home soon! We also go a tremendous amount of snow for the south and so Eli got to play in the snow and he had his moments of liking it and not liking it...but I really enjoyed seeing his reaction to snow! I ran my first 5k this year and I'm trying my best to stay in shape so you can pray for me for that because I need motivation and encouragement! As for Daniel and I we are praying that 2011 will open up a new job opportunity for him and one for me! We are trying to be hopeful and pray that the Lord gives us the strength to be faithful no matter what the circumstances. We really want to trust in the Lord with all our hearts! I hope everyone has had a happy 2010...and that 2011 will be blessed with many more blessing for you all!

Long Time no Blog!

So since the last time I blogged Eli has turned 8 months and 9 months and had his first Thanksgiving and Christmas! My life has been so crazy that I haven't gotten to blog!
So around the 10th of December our neighbors hot water heater leaked overnight and came into our house and flooded our entire downstairs...making it pretty much unlivable! And it did not get fixed until Christmas Eve. So that was a ruff time for us not being able to use our kitchen, living room, and dinning room! Praise the Lord for our new floors and carpet!
Christmas turned out wonderful even with all our house drama! Eli had a ball opening gifts and playing with his new toys and the boxes they came in! Daniel bought me a kitchen Aid mixer, and I am loving it! I am now a mash potato queen and I'm going to start experiment with other things soon...like making my own bread! I will let you know how that works out!
For New Years we spent it helping with a surprise party for my best friend Resa and then we went to Brock's and played games and rang in the New Year away from all the drunk and crazy people!
So after New Years day we went to Hilton Head Island with Daniels family for a few days. Unfortunately, it was the coldest that it has been this year but it was still fun! Eli was subdued by the Ocean and even though we froze I got some good pictures!
Finally we just finished getting a ultra sound done on Eli's brain to make sure that there was no fluid on his brain and praise the Lord everything was fine! Our doctor just wanted it done as a precautionary thing because his head grew so fast between his check ups. But all is well!
And now my grandmother is in the hospital with phenomena after her surgery to repair her tendons on her shoulder. The fun never ends at our house! They are hoping to send her to a rehab facility on Monday to help her become more independent so she can go home by herself. So we are very happy that she is doing better and pray she continues to get better every day! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and that 2010 has been a good year for all of you so far!

My baby boy is 7 months old today! He is laughing, saying da-da, almost crawling (he can go backwards but not forward), he can stand up holding something for a few seconds, and he keeps getting cuter! I can not believe how much he is growing! Every day is a new adventure and I can wait to see what my little man is going to do next! Here are some pictures!

This month has been packed full of stuff this month. We had Tim's birthday bash at the beginning of the month. Then we had a wedding the next weekend for David and Katie Runge. Then we had a Hallowine party to go to at Hillary and Tim's to celebrate Hillary's birthday which is on the 31st of this month. We also celebrated my cousin Charla's 30th birthday and, took Eli to the pumpkin patch to get him his first pumpkin. And on the 20th of October Daniel and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. 2 years have flown by and I pray for many many more. Daniel took me out to eat at High Cotton for dinner...it was fantastic! Here are some pictures from this month so far...I will put up more picks after next weekend of Halloween and our fall festival for church. October is just such a busy month and my favorite! I can not believe that my little man is 6 months old today! It seems like only yesterday he was born and now he is so big. He weighs 20bls 12 oz, and he is 29 1/4 inches long! Yes I know he is a big boy! I am so blessed to have such a happy loving child...here are some pictures from today for you all to enjoy! I love motherhood it is truly a gift from God!

Remembering Grandpa

For those of you who don't know I lost my grandfather last week. His name was F. C. Bradley and he died on September 17th. It is like I have lost one of my closest friends and my heart is broken:( The up side to this sadness is that he was a wonderful Christian man and I know I will see him again one day. I feel very blessed that I was his granddaughter for 29 wonderful years! Please pray for my family as we all grieve, especially my grandma who was married to him for 70 years. Now for a few words about grandpa for those who did not know him: he was always the comedian...I loved to hear him laugh it was awesome! He always wanted to cut up and tickle you. He use to build forts mad out of blankets for me and we would play, he would rake all the leaves up in the fall when they fell off the trees and put them in a huge pile for me and my cousins to jump through just to see us have fun. He was the only man I knew who could wear a mint green suit to church and look so handsome! He always knew a shorter way to get to everywhere and then when you took his directions you would get lost. He was a simple but great christian man who loved his family more than life and I am very proud to have been blessed with such a man as my grandpa!

So it has been way to long since I blogged...and I don't really have a good excuse other than I just haven't made time. So here is what's been happening in the lives of Autumn, Daniel, and Eli. Well my son has taken his first trip out of state to West Virgina ( and was loved by all), he has turned 4 months old and 5 months old. He has also gotten his first tooth and is eating baby food! I cannot believe how big he is getting! I on the other hand have been up with him at night while he was teething...it is a horrible thing and I really don't like it...but finally my sweet child is back to normal and sleeping through the night like he was. I honestly think my child is one of the best sleepers ever, he sleeps for 12 straight hours at a time. I am truly blessed! I have also grown another year older and am now the big 29. I think for my next birthday I will go back in age and become 28...well only in my dreams! I also got my hair chopped off by my friend Carolyn at her new salon (Salon Versele) and it is the shortest its ever been but I love it! It is so easy to maintain now since I'm a mom and since my hair was falling out from having Eli. I was also in a wedding for my friend Lauren, and Daniel and I went to wedding for our friends Joy and Fadi. On a not so good note: my grandpa has been having trouble and now my dad is having trouble and they are not sure what it is. Something is wrong with his heart or lungs...so please keep our family in your prayers at this time. Here are some pictures of our little man who is growing up so fast! Enjoy!

I can not believe it! My little boy is already 3 months old! Eli turned 3 months on Saturday June 27th. He is talking so much now and he laughs all the time. He has now found his feet! He grabs them and then pulls on them. He is babbling things that sound like yeah and aha! He never ceases to amaze me! I love my little man! I took my son to the doctor yesterday for his 2 month check up. He is doing well and growing like a weed. He now weighs 12.65 pounds and is 25 1/2 inches long. He is now in the 99% for height! So I have decided that he is going to be our basketball star! Hopefully he will play for the Tar Heels one day and eventually go into the NBA! At least that is my dream...it could happen! Anyways, I can't believe how fast my little guy is growing up! I think he gets cuter every day. Here are some pictures of him taken at random times of the day. Eli went swimming for the first time on Memorial Day! The water was a little cold so we did not stay long but he really liked it! We went with our friends Michelle and Ethan. Mother's Day

Today was my first Mother's Day! It was wonderful! My husband cooked me breakfast in bed and brought it to me along with my loving son! And then they both gave me cards. The one from Eli had a recording with him making noises on it! It was so amazing! And the card that Daniel got me had a recording of him telling me happy first Mother's Day and that he loved me and was proud that I was his wife and mother of his child! I cried I was so happy! Then we just spent the day with each other and my mom and his mom. It was truly a blessed day that I will never forget!

My little man had his one month check up with the doctor today! He did so good... he is now 10 pounds 5 ounces, he is almost 24 inches long...yes my son is in the 98 percentile for height! I can not believe how big my little guy is getting and so fast! I'm so blessed in this life!

I can not believe that our little boy is one month old! Time is already going by so fast! Eli is starting to smile more often and not just in his sleep anymore! He is learning more about his fingers every day...I don't think it will be long till he is sucking on his thumb! His legs are so strong he scoots himself a little when I have him on his tummy! He loves his tummy time! Words can not express how truly blessed we are to have such a sweet and loving little boy!

Riverside Reunion

Some people that I grew up in youth group and I got together for a reunion this past weekend on April 25th. It was great seeing people from my childhood! It had been 10 or more years since I had seen some of them. Our old youth choir even got together to sing a few songs from back in the day! Our son Eli was born on March 27, 2009 at 1:34pm by cesarean. He weighed 9bls 40z and was 22 1/2 inches long. We had him at St. Francis Eastside and he is a true joy and blessing to us. Life is a precious gift from the Lord and we very excited that God has blessed us with our precious baby boy! We are so in love with him and all the wonders that come with parenthood! Here are some pictures of our sweet precious angel!

So on February the 7th I had my first baby shower thrown by Hillary, Resa, Lara, and Lyndsey! It was wonderful! They made sure that all my favorite foods showed up to the shower! I was really glad that Hillary could fly in and help out since she is out in Denver until we can get her and Tim moved back here with jobs! (Which will hopefully be this summer!) It was a wonderful time of fellowship with friends! I was so excited that so many of my good friends could make it to the shower and share in this wonderful and special time in my life as I'm about to bring little Eli into the world! He is due March the 24th! Only 5 weeks left till his due date! It seems like it has taken so long to get here and now that its almost time things are just flying by. 32 weeks and counting!

So I am now 32 weeks pregnant and I am ready for this baby to be here...but I need to wait until my showers are over! I am getting really excited because my first shower is in a week and I can not wait to see what baby Eli gets! I did get my crib and it is put together and looking beautiful! And I just got my dresser/changing table and my mom and I are going to put it together today! I'm so excited and I can't wait to get it put together and then I will post pictures of the crib and dresser on here in another blog.

My belly just keeps growing and growing and just when I think it won't go anymore it just gets bigger! So please pray that my baby is not a 9 pounder cause I don't know if I can handle that...I'm hoping for a little boy around 7 or 8 pounds! But here are a few pics of my growing baby belly! Christmas Time

This is our 2nd Christmas as a married couple and next year will be our first Christmas with our baby boy! I am now 27 weeks pregnant and so excited that he will be here in a few more months! So in preparation for our new little one Daniel and I bought a new Camera. It is a Sony digital SLR. So I have been playing around taking pictures of all the different things we have been doing before Christmas. I took pictures of our tree and some of our ornaments. I also took pictures while I made Christmas goodies with my friend Sarah and her mom. We made peanut butter balls, and they were delicious! We also had our small group Christmas party for Church. We had a fun time of food and fellowship with one another. We also celebrated Daniel's birthday at El Mariachi with friends and family. Daniel and I found out that we are going to be parents to a little boy on November 4th, 2008! We are so excited and blessed that the Lord has been so gracious to us! We are going to name him

One Year

For our one year anniversary Daniel and I went up to the Biltmore House and spent the day with one another! We had such a wonderful day just enjoying each other! Then the next day we spent relaxing together and then Daniel took me out for our anniversary dinner at Larken's on the River. It was such a nice restaurant in beautiful downtown Greenville, we hope to go back again one day! Then we came home and ate our one year old cake topper! I thought it was going to taste bad but it was just as moist as the day we got married, we were both really happy with the outcome.

Cut off 11 inches of my hair

Sang a solo at my church for our Christmas musical
Started and finished my student teaching for Converse College
Traveled to Denver to visit the best friends in the world

Have been so sick that I have had to stay at home alot, because of the baby

I had my 10 year high school reunion
I have laughed

I have been loved more than ever in my life
I have been the happest I have ever been in my whole life

In the next year their is going to be more exciting new adventures to explore as Daniel and I become parents and lives change in a good way! I know that I will be truely blessed as long as I am loved by my husband the way I have been this whole wonderful year!

10 year high school reunion

This past Saturday October 18, 2008 was my 10 year High School Reunion from Byrnes High School. Hillary and Tim flew in from Denver on Thursday night and then Friday we all went to downtown Greenville to surprise Brenn for his 30th birthday. We meet him and Resa at the Blue Ridge Brewing Company to surprise him along with Callie and Adam, Amanda and Keith, and Bradley and his fiancee. We had a wonderful time socializing and catching up with friends. Then Saturday we got to go eat at Hillary's moms house. She fixed all this wonderful food that my baby loved. Then we went over to Resa's to play with Addison cause she is getting so big and is so much fun these days. Then we all got ready and went to the Marriot in Spartanburg for the Reunion. We had so much fun! We got to see people that we haven't seen in 10 years and had a wonderful time. Below are some pictures from the weekend.

I graduated from Converse with my masters degree on August 2nd of this year. But the big news that we got that week was that we were going to be parents! I found out I was pregnant on July 25th! So our adventure began that we had not expected to happen so soon. Daniel and I went for our ultra sound at 12 weeks and we were so excited to see our baby moving all over the place. It was such a special day for us to see this little baby that we created together out of love. Here are some pictures from our first ultra sound!

We are very blessed to show off our new baby! We find out if its a boy or a girl on November 4th! We are so ready for election day to get here so that we can finally know if we are having a boy or a girl!

It has been a while since I have blogged. Lots of things have gone on...

1. I went to church camp in WV to be a camp counselor. This is one of the best places in the world! It is my little Jesus bubble! While I was there I made new friends and spent time with old friends. It was a great time of fellowship an fun!

2. I had my 28th birthday on August the 1st..... Wow I'm getting old. But my wonderful friends and family helped me celebrate it with a bang. We went out to Capris Italian to eat on the 1st and some of my girlfriends took me out to eat the night before to On The Boarder and out for ice cream! Here are some pics from all of the fun!

Denver Colorado

Daniel and I took a trip to Denver to see Hillary and Tim on the week on the 4th of July. We ha so much fun visiting with our friends. The only bad things that happened were our plane problems. On our way there we were delayed and had to leave the next morning and then on the way back we had flight delays which made for very long days to Denver and back from Denver. But the fun we had while we were out there was so worth it! The only other bad thing about the trip was that we had to leave:(
Hillary and Tim were great hostesses while we were in Colorado! The took us to see the Rockies play and out on the town in Downtown Denver. The Rockies won the game in the 11th inning and then we got to watch the fireworks show! They also took us to Red Rocks Amphitheater and we hiked around and took some pictures and then to Dinosaur Ridge and hiked to see the dinosaur tracks embedding in the rock. We also took a day to go up to Boulder, Colorado and walk around and do some shopping. I found the prettiest necklace made out of a real butterfly wing, it is really cool. We also visited with Daniel's cousins while we were out in Denver where they live. His cousin Chad is an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets Basketball Team, so he gave us a behind the scenes tour of their locker room and practice area...which I must say was pretty cool. We also got to spend time with Tim's family and meet the new addition to the family...Carson, Matt and Michelle had a beautiful baby boy!
We also did some good eating while we were in Denver. Hillary and Tim took us to some of their favorite restaurants while we visited: Rib City, Qudoba, Noodles, and ESPNZone.

Maggie Valley

Daniel and I took our first vacation of the Summer in June. We went up to Maggie Valley in the mountains with his parents for 3 days. It was a nice little get away. We did some shopping and Daniel bought me some Chaco's from the Mast General Store! I love them they are pink and brown! Yeah I know I'm not much of a pink person but I love these shoes! We also spent some time at the pool relaxing and just spending time with each other. His dad also showed me how to do a little golf. I mean I actually hit the ball! I was so excited that I didn't swing and miss I actually made contact with the ball and enjoyed it. I also got to drive the golf cart around which was really fun to do. I was just a really nice time for us to spend time alone together and with Daniel's parents. I just spent a lot of time with Daniel relaxing and listening to the river out behind the condo!
The Maggie Valley Country club was the name of the place that we stayed while we were up there. It was a very nice place for rest and golfing!

Daniel and I also went to my friend Danielle's wedding on June 7th. It was the first Catholic wedding that I have ever been to. Then they had the reception at Holly Tree Country Club. It was beautiful. Daniel and I got to dance and spend some time with our friends Danielle and Tony.

Daniel and I bought a condo in October right before we got married. It is still in the works. My goal is to paint and put up more art work this summer but here are some pictures of our place for now until it is fully complete. I did not take pictures of the whole house, so these are just to give people an idea of where we live. It has been the perfect place for us to start our lives together until our family gets bigger!

Daniel and I were married on October 20, 2007 at Walker Hall. We bought a condo in Taylors, and it is wonderful for us. I just finished my student teaching at Wellford Elementary and I am about to graduate from Converse College with my Masters in Early Childhood Education. I can not wait to start shaping young children's minds! As for my wonderful husband, Daniel, is a kitchen manager at P.F. Chang's until he gets a job in his degree field of Economics and Finance. We are just praying for the Lord to guide us in which ever direction he wants us to go. My friends have been telling me that we needed to get a blog so here we are!
